Fair Play

TL;DR: Use what's strong — that's smart play, not cheating. But if a setting is OP, it gets nerfed, no exceptions. Don't build your whole empire around one loophole; build a solid strategy instead.

A word on exploits & OP strategies

We tune balance continuously — and every so often something slips through that's clearly too strong: a ruler skill, a tower, a combo that outperforms everything else by a wide margin.

That's not on you. If we ship something broken, that's our mistake, not yours. And if you use an obviously strong option, you're just playing smart — that's exactly what we'd expect.

But make no mistake: if a setting is OP, it gets nerfed. That's not the exception, it's the rule. The more a strategy leans entirely on one of these gaps, the harder the balance patch will hit once we close it. Building your whole empire around a single exploit is building on sand — those gains can disappear at any time.

In short: play what's strong, for as long as it's strong. But if you build your entire empire around one loophole instead of a solid strategy, don't be surprised when that loophole is the first thing to go.

Thank you for helping us make the game better by showing us where it still breaks. 🙏

Retroactive balance changes only affect future effects, never progress you've already earned — trophies and season results are always safe.
